This farm included the farmhouse now known as High Elm House at the junction of Pye Lane and Vicarage Road.

1843

In 1843, as recorded in the tithe apportionment, the farm was owned and occupied by Andrew Lane:

1846 Auction

The following advertisement appeared in the Norfolk News dated April 4^th 1846 as well as the Norfolk News of April 11^th 1846:

The following flyer stated that the farm had been owned by the late Andrew Lane; the newspaper advertisement above stated that it was then in the occupation of Mrs Mary Lane, widow,

The three copyhold pieces making up this sale can be seen on the following extract from the 1814 Inclosures Map; the newspaper advertisement stated that there were 40 acres in total, presumably therefore also including piece no 174.
