CommentI do not agree with Mr H.B. Coldham’s observance of the general condition of field drainage & find there is a considerable acreage of arable land which is always very wet & Mr Cooper tells me that when there is a few days rainfall the land stands with water. This is due largely to a ditch which belongs to Mr F.C. Woods this ditch which has not been done out for many years. I have seen Mr Woods & he wants to do this ditch out if be can get the grant.
