Extracts from the will of John Cooper
The following extract from the will dated October 19th 1725 was copied into the Court record in English:
I give to my Son John & his heirs for ever
All my Estate Adjoyning to Green Common in Deopham aforesaid which I purchased of my Sister Wilkinson
And also the pightle Adjoyning that I purchased of Robert Isukork & his Wife
But my mind is that my Wife during the minority of my Son John shall enjoy all the profits of the aforesaid Estate keeping the premises in good & Sufficient repair & makeing no Waste, for and towards the Educacon of my Children.
This second extract from the will dated October 19th 1725 was copied into the Court record in English:
I give to my beloved Wife Sarah
All my Copyhold Land which lyes intermixt with her Joynture being about three acres holden of the Manor of Deopham Hall during her natural Life, & after her decease to my Son James & his heirs for ever.
