| William Donne took to him one third of all these premises upon surrender of Edward Sayer August 22nd 1757; and to a second third August 22nd 1757; a final third following the death of Catherine Amyas December 4th 1765: Indenture of Release prior to marriage of Anna Maria Barnwell to William Donne passed premises to Charles Bringloe of Hingham; Thomas Coningesby Watson, Gentleman, presents a writ upon Disseisin En Lepost; John Doe & Richard Roe desire progress to be made; Charles Bringloe calls William Donne & Anna Maria his wife as Warrant; William Donne & Anna Maria his wife call James Cooper to warrant them; Thomas Coningesby Watson asks Court to “imparle” until 1 o’clock; James Cooper failed to return; Therefore, Thomas Coningesby Watson is judged to “recover seizin” of the premises; James Cooper is “in mercy”; William Knights the bailiff of the Court is instructed to deliver seizin of the lands to Thomas Coningesby Watson; Thomas Coningesby Watson surrendered the recovered premises to William Donne | 1) 12 acres called Glocesters; 2) 4 acres called Humphreys; 3) 3 acres 3 roods in the Field of Morley near the freehold lands formerly of John Amyas the elder called Pillrood; 4) 11 acres called Church Close between lands of the Dean & Chapter of Canterbury, West; King’s Highway and lands of this Manor East; Palloway, South; 5) 6 acres 3 roods in the Field of Deopham between lands of the Dean & Chapter of Canterbury East & West; Pillrood CLose & lands of this Manor, South, late in the Copyhold tenure of John Amyas the elder. 6) 2 acres in Church Field between lands of the Vicarage, West; John Amyas the elder East; Palloway South; 7) 1½ acres between John Amyas the elder West; Dean & Chapter of Canterbury East; Pallow Way North; late in Copyhold tenure of John Amyas the elder; 8) ½ acre between John Amyas the elder East & West; abutts the Pallow Way; 9) ½ acre between Edmund Burman Esquire, West; lands of the Lord of the Manor, East; John Amyas the elder, South; late in Copyhold tenure of Edmund Cock; 10) 8 acres inclosed in the Field of Morley between Robert Payne, Esquire, East; Robert Underwood, West; Pallow Way, North; late in Copyhold tenure of George Cooper. | ||||||

Notes
Thomas Coningesby Watson is also referred to in the Court held for the Manor Shadwell’s on April 27th 1779 where it is said that William Donne the Younger took premises to himself at this Court following a recovery and surrender by Thomas Coningesby Watson.
