Recorded that
Richard Jolly had conditionally surrendered in return for a mortgage of £500 + interest at 5% p.a. from Elizabeth Moore of Norwich, widow.

July 18th 1781: Recorded that on death of Elizabeth Moore the mortgage1 had passed to John Green (clerk) of Norwich Cathedral & his wife Elizabeth.

February 2nd 1798:
Recorded that following the 3rd proclamation after the death of Richard Jolly, the Lord of the Manor seized the lands.
April 28th 1775: Richard Jolly admitted on surrender of John JollyThe Lord of the Manor regranted the lands to
Elizabeth Green (widow)
Thomas Cringesby Watson the Younger1) A tenement called Watts containing 3 roods in Deopham;
2) A Pightle containing 3 roods adjoining the above tenement;
3) An inclosure called Watts Close containing 7 acres;
– The above are separated from the following by the Palloway.
4) 1 acre called Dunnings Acre;
5) ½ acre called Shrubs Half Acre in Deopham.
6) 10 acres of Copyhold land in 4 pieces in West Field in Deopham:
6.1) 8 acres between lands late of George Roper (deceased) & lands late of Catherine Smith (widow), West,
Lands late of John Entwissell (deceased), East,
abutts upon “a certain Way called Holl Street Way otherwise Palloway”, North;
6.2) 1½ acres between George Brooke, West & East;
George Roper (deceased), North;
6.3) 1 rood between John Entwissell (deceased), North, South & East,
6.4) 1 rood between Head Lands of divers men, South,
Lands late of John Entwissell (deceased), North & East;
7) A piece of land in the Copyhold Tenure of Robert Edwards including the Back House and a small stable in Deopham between Messuage & lands of John Gostling, East,
the Yard of Nicholas Smith, West,
abutts the Common Pasture of Deopham, North,
