I acknowledge my Self Satisfyed this mortgage by a Conditional Surrender this day made to me of the Copyhold lands within mentioned for a greater Sume of money.

Extract from the will of Stephen Baldwyn
The following extract from the will of Stephen Baldwyn dated May 15th 1719 has been included in the Court Roll in English:
Item: I do hereby order & direct that all my Lands, Tenements & Hereditaments whatsoever scituate being & being in Deopham & Morley in the said County of Norfolk then in the use or occupation of Thomas Souter of his Assigns with their & every of their appurtenances Shall as Soon after my decease as conveniently they may or can be Sold for the best price of prizes can be gotten for the same by my Brother in Law, William Thurrold of Hingham in Norfolk, Grocer, & by my Son, Stephen Baldwyn, or by the Survivor of them, or by the Executors or Administrators of the Survivors of them,
And the money ariseing by Sale thereof, together with Rents thereof from the time of my death untill Such Sale be made, I will shall be applyed for & towards the payment of all my just debts whatsoever & the Overplus, if any be, to remain & be to my said Son, Stephen, his Executors & Administrators, to whom I give the Same.
Item. I do make, nominate & appoint the said Stephen my Son, Sole Executor of this my last will & Testament.
