The following extract dated December 27th 1731 was copied into the Court record, in English:
Received the day and year above written of Edmund Stone (by the payment of Mr. William Bullock) the Summe of Three hundred and Sixty pounds in discharge of a Conditional Surrender made by me the said Edmund Stone the 9th day of July which was in the Year of our Lord 1724 of All and Singular his Messuages, Lands, Tenements & Hereditaments Copyhold of the Manor of Deopham Hall, Conditioned for the Payment of One hundred and twenty six pounds
And I hereby Authorize and desire the Homage and Steward at the next General Court to be held for the said Manor to find & enter Satisfaction of the said Surrender and All Other Surrenders made by the said Edmund Stone to me.

Extract from the will of Joseph Payne
The following extract dated November 2nd 1680 was copied into the Court record, in English:
Item: I give & bequeath unto Joseph Payne my Grandchild
All those me Messuages, Lands & Tenements lying & being in Deopham & Hingham aforesaid which I purchased of John Dover the Elder & John Dover the Younger of Attleburgh in this County
And also One piece of Land Containing by Estimation One Acre and lyeth in Deopham Field aforesaid which I purchased of Philip Corey
To have and to hold
All & every the said premises (amongst other Things) with their & every of their Appurtenances unto him the said Joseph & his Assigns for and during the Term of his natural Life
And after the decease of him the said Joseph,
Then to the Issue of his Body lawfully begotten, And for want …
