under the will of John Amyas (deceased), Gentleman.
John Lane, their son5½ acres of Copyhold land in 2 pieces:
1) 3 acres between John Godfrey North, Hawfield Lane South;
Town Green East;
2) 2½ acres between lands late of Robert Reynolds North;
Dean & Chapter of Canterbury South;
Pye Lane West.

Thomas Rowing produces a writ upon Disseizin En Lepost and brings pledges from John Doe & Richard Roe3 against John Lane;
John Lane calls to warranty Matthew Lane & Mary his wife, and John Harman;
Thomas Rowing asks Court to adjourn in order to “imparle”;
John Harman (despite being summoned “three times with a loud voice”) did not return;
Therefore Court judged in favour of Thomas Rowing;
William Knights the bailiff is instructed to seize the lands;
5½ acres of Copyhold land in 2 pieces:
1) 3 acres between John Godfrey North, Hawfield Lane South;
Town Green East;
2) 2½ acres between lands late of Robert Reynolds North;
Dean & Chapter of Canterbury South;
Pye Lane West.
Thomas RowingLand he has just recovered is surrendered to the Rev. Matthew Lane.
