The following extract from the will of Robert Oakley dated January 18th1687 has been copied into the Court Roll (in English):
First, I Give & devise unto Mary my daughter, the wife of Francis Amyas,
All that my Messuages or Tenements where I now dwell with the Barne, Outhouses & Appurtenances, and all my Lands & Tenements, both Freehold & Coppyhold whatsoever and wheresoever for & during the terme of he naturall life.
