Will of Samuel Levold
The following extract from the will of Samuel Levold has been included, in English, in the record of this Court:
Know all men by these presents that I, Samuel Levold, Copyhold Tennant of the Manor of Deopham Hall in the County of Norfolk
Have constituted and Appointed and doe by these presents Constitute and Appoint Robert Gallard of Wymondham in the County aforesaid and John Lynes of the same Towne, gentleman, my Lawfull Attorney or Attorneys for me and in my name at the next General or any other Court or Courts to be holden for the said Manor,
to Surrender into the hands of the Lord and Lady , Lords or Ladyes of the said Manor, all and every my Messuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever holden by Coppy of Court Roll of the same Manor, with the Appurtenances, to the use and behoofe of Simon Bale of Wymondham aforesaid, Husbandman, his Heirs and Assigns for Ever;
And I doe hereby Ratify and Confirme whatsoever my said Attorneys or either of them shall Lawfully doe in the premises.
In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale this Nineteenth day of Aprill in the fourth Yeare of the Queen Majesty’s Reigne, 1705 A.D.
