Will of William Pointon
The following extract from the Will of William Pointon dated November 25th 1704 has been copied into the Court record in English:
Item: I give and bequeath unto Sarah my kind and Loving Wife for and during the Term of her Natural Life
All that my House and Pightle of Land thereto belonging with the Yards, Gardens, Libertys, Privileges and Appurtenances, the same being also Copyhold and in the Use and Occupation of Francis Themilthorpe or his Assignes,
And from and after her decease I give and devise the said House and Pightle of Land with the Appurtenances to my Son William and his Heires
