it was recorded that a mortgage of £210 had been advanced by Ann Watson of Hingham, Spinster according to an indenture dated November 2nd 1741

Roger Cooper, Gentleman, & Mary his wife (née Knights)January 27th 1741:
surrendered to the Lord of the Manor.

5) 1 acre & 1 rood between Robert Cock & lands of John Cooper called Lower Mallyotts [sic – aka Marriotts];
Dean & Chapter of Canterbury East;
6) ½ acre of Copyhold land between aforesaid lands of Dean & Chapter of Canterbury, West;
aforesaid land of John Cooper called Lower Marriotts, [sic] East;
7) 3 roods of Copyhold land between John Sedley, Esquire, West;

8) 1 acre of copyhold land in the Field of Morley between land late of Robert Underwood, West;
land lately of Richard Raven East;
