Extract from the will of Richard Wright
The following extract from the will of Richard Wright dated July 24th 1653 has been included in the Court Roll3:
Item. All the residue of my Messuages, Lands, Tenements, hereditaments, pastures, feedings & hereditaments whatsoever in my own occupation in Deopham aforesaid and in Morley & Wicklewood next adjoyninge, I give & devise unto all my seaven sisters equally to be divided as copartners at the Common Lawe or as tenants in Common to them & their severall & respective heires and assignes for and in satisfaction and discharge of all & every such legacy & legacies or gift whatsoever was geven to them or any of them by my father’s will & testament
And soe as if any of my said sisters shall at any tyme bringe any action against or troubles my Executrixes hereafter named or either of them that then the party soe bringing action or …. to release shall forfit her & their part in all the said premisses to my said Executrixes untill such release be made & in due forme of same delyvered to my said Executrixes or one of them.

The following extract from the will of Martin Sedley dated January 10th 1654 has been included in the Court Roll:
Item. I doe devise & bequeath unto my grandchild William Sedley my Coppyhold Lands … of the Manor of Shadwells also Cockerells
