Footnotes

  1. It has been noted in the margin that Martha Ann Lock was admitted to this land at the Court held on October 20th 1846. ↩︎
  2. The Court Roll has piece no 194 but this is clearly a transposition of digits referring in fact to piece not 149. The acreage corresponds. ↩︎
  3. It has been noted in the margin that Elizabeth Ann Elsey was admitted to this land at the Court held on October 2nd 1862.  ↩︎
  4. The 1815 Survey of Deopham lists the lands owned by Robert Curson, totalling to 16 acres & 1 rood. This would include all his property, not just the copyhold which is the focus of the Court Roll. ↩︎
  5. A note in the margin recorded that the Rev. George Henry Turner was admitted to this land at the Court held on May 9th 1853. ↩︎
  6. It was noted in the margin that Robert Phenix was admitted to these premises at the Court held on June 11th 1866 ↩︎
  7. This mortgage was confirmed as satisfied at the Court held on May 25th 1871. ↩︎
