The following extract from the will of Elizabeth Browne dated December 27th1732 has been copied into the Court record:
Item: I give, Devise, Bequeath, limitt and appoint
All and Singular My Messuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments situate, lying and being in Wymondham, Wicklewood, Morley St. Buttolph, Deopham, Hingham and Hackford in the said County of Norfolk or in any other Town or Towns thereto near or next to them or any of them adjoyning,
To my said Loving Husband, John Browne and his Assigns for and during the Term of his natural life
