The following extract from the will of Thomas Doubledew dated February 14th 1695 has been included in the Court Roll, in English:-
I, Thomas Doubledew,
Item:
I give and devise to Stephen Hubbard and Margaret his wife, my sister, during their lives and the life of the longer liver of them,
All that Messuage or tenement I have bought of Jeremy Ellis & all other my Messuages, Lands and Tenements as well Copyhold as Freehold,
Scituate, lying & being in Hackford in the County of Norfolke, with the appurtenances.
Defaulters
Those who had defaulted were amerced 3d each.
