By an Indenture made on November 8th 1918 between: 1) John George Peele of Morley Manor in the Parish of Morley in the County of Norfolk, Gentleman, of the one part; 2) Edward Denny Bacon of The Gables, Croham Park Avenue, South Croydon in the County of Surrey, Gentleman, of the other part; For the consideration therein mentioned, the said J.G. Peele as Beneficial Owner thereby enfranchised and released unto the said E.D. Bacon his heirs and assigns, All that piece of land lying in Deopham in the County of Norfolk, being the third allotment by the Commissioners acting under the Deopham Enclosure Act allotted to Mary Eldred, Deceased, and marked on the plan annexed to the said Award No 53 containing 35 perches bounded … Together with all mines and minerals in or under the premises, including the rights reserved by Section 23 of the Copyhold Act 1894, And together with all commonable and other easements, rights and privileges which immediately before the execution hereof were appendant or appurtenant to the said hereditaments, or reputed so to be, or usually held therewith or any part thereof, To hold unto and to the use of the said E.D. Bacon as freehold discharged from all rents (including the above mentioned free rent of 10d), fines, heriots, reliefs, suits, services and other incidents of copyhold tenure.
