Extract from the will of Anthony Daynes
The following extract from the will of Anthony Daynes dated October 14th 1629 has been included in English in the Court Roll:
Item: I give and bequeath all that my Cottage or tenement called Seamans conteying by estimacion half a Roode of lande with the houses and yardes thereto belonging in Hackford in the said Countie of Norfolk and alsose 4 acres of pasture called Feetes and adjoyning to the saide Cottage unto Rose my welbeloved wiffe and to her assignes for and during the terme of her naturall life, she to maintaine and keepe the same in sufficient reparacions and not to comitt anie Strip or waste thereuppon,
And after the decease of my saide wiffe, I doe give and bequeathe all and singular the saide premisses with the appurtenances unto my sonne Thomas and his heires for ever.
