Extract from the will of Joseph Thimblethorpe
The following extract from the will of Joseph Thimblethorpe dated August 9th 1688 has been copied into the Court Roll, in English:
In the name of God, amen.
I Joseph Thimblethorpe of Deopham in the County of Norffolke, husbandman,
Item: I give and devise unto Mary my loving wife, All my Messuages, Lands and Tenements, both Freehold & Copyhold, to her & her heires.
Extract from the will of John Skipper
The following extract from the will of John Skipper dated November 16th 1670 has been copied into the Court Roll, in English:
After the decease of Amy my wife, I give my Sonne and his heires forever:
– One pightle called Scotts, being in Deopham aforesaid,
– two other pightles being by the west side of Haughfield in Deopham aforesaid,
– two acres and a halfe of Arrable Land being in Haughfield aforesaid;
– and alsoe one Rood of Arrable Land being in the said Haughfield,
to hold & enjoye immediately after the decease of Amy my wife
