Extract from the Will of Robert Blomfield
The following extract from the will of Robert Blomfield, dated May 19th 1701, has been copied into the Court Roll:
Item: All those Messuages, Lands and Tenements which I purchased of Robert Ockley and Jeremy Woodhouse and of Bridget Downing, Widow,
I give and bequeath unto my Son Edmund Wright and Frances his Wife and the longer Liver of them for and during the Term of their Natural Lives and the Life of the longer liver of them, and from and after the Decease of the longer Liver of them, I Give and Devise the same Messuages, Lands and Tenements unto Robert Wright my Grandson, the Son of the said Edmund Wright, and to his Heirs and Assigns for Ever.
Extract from the Will of William Lane
The following extract from the will of William Lane, dated May 27th 1750, has been copied into the Court Roll:
My Will and Mind is that William Lane my Son and John Cooper my Brother in Law shall receive the Rents and Profits of all that Estate that I purchased of Mrs. Alexander in Deopham until Michaelmas Twelve Months next after my Decease, and then, as soon as Conveniently may be, make sale of all and every my Messuages, Houses, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments that I purchased of the said Mrs. Alexander for the best price or prices that can or may be got for the same.
Defaulters
Those who had defaulted were amerced 3d each.
