Extract from the will of Mary Gould
The following extract from the will of Mary Gould dated March 10th 1755 has been included in the Court Roll:
I give all my Messuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever situate and being in Deopham in the County of Norfolk and in any other Town or Towns adjoining, both Freehold and Copyhold, with their Appurtenances (subject nevertheless to the Several payments therein mentioned)
Unto John Webb and his Wife (my Daughter) and their assigns for and during the Term of their Natural Lives, and the Life of the longer liver of them, with the Remainder to the Hers of the said Elizabeth as by the said Will, reference being had, doth more fully appear.
Defaulters
All persons who owe suit & service who have made default in their appearance were each amerced sixpence.
