Will of Edward Hatch
The following extract from the will of Edward Hatch dated December 4th 1713 has been copied into the Court Roll:
I give and bequeath to Abigail my Daughter
All those my Messuages, Lands and Tenements situate, lying and being in Deopham and Hingham, and to the heirs of her body lawfully begotten for ever,
She paying out thereof when she attains the age of twenty one years the sume of One hundred pounds to Mary Hatch my Daughter;
And if Abigail Hatch my Daughter shall dye without issue of her body lawfully begotten, Then I give and bequeath all the aforesaid bequeathed premises to Mary Hatch my Daughter and her heirs for ever,
She paying out thereof yearly and every year unto Abigail my Loving Wife for and during the term of her natural life the sume of Five Pounds a year, as in and by the said will may appear.
Will of John Payne
The following extracts from the will of John Payne dated January 10th 1744 have been copied into the Court Roll:
John Payne
I do in the first place Give and devise unto my Eldest Son, John Payne and to his heirs,
All that Messuage or Tenement with the barnes, Stables, Outhouses, Yards, Gardens, Orchards, Lands, Pastures and feeding Grounds thereunto belonging and now in the use and Occupation of William Pully, his Assign or Assigns, his Tenant or Undertenants, situate, lying and being in Hingham aforesaid and Deopham in the said County or in any other Town or Towns thereunto near or next adjoining, with the Appurtenances.

Also, I give and bequeath unto Thomas Grigson Payne my son and his heirs for ever,
All that Messuage or Tenement with the barnes, Stables, Outhouses, Yards, Gardens, Orchards, Lands, Meadows, Pastures and feeding Grounds thereunto belonging, situate and lying in Deopham aforesaid, now in the use and Occupation of Robert Wright, his Assignee or Assigns, his Tenant or Undertenants.
Edward Payne
Also, I give and bequeath unto Edward Payne my Son and his heirs for ever,
All that Messuage or Tenement with the barn, Stable, Outhouses, Yards, Gardens, Orchards, Lands, Pastures and feeding ground thereunto belonging, situate, lying and being in Morley St Buttolph aforesaid, now in the use and Occupation of Nicholas Sparkell, his Assignee or Assigns, Tenant or Undertenants.8
