Location
The Terrier of the Manor of Deopham of the Dean & Chapter of Canterbury 1663 includes the following description of the site of the Manor:-
The first piece is the seite of ye Mannor containing by estimation four acres of pastures with a Manor house called the Monkes, a Barn Stable & another woodhouse thereupon build & lyeth between the Land of ye Vicar of Deopham on the side of ye East & ye high way on ye side of ye West & abutteth upon ye Coppyhold Meadow of ye Manor of Deopham Hall called Glocesters towards ye North & upon ye Churchyard of Deopham towards ye South.

This outline indicates that the field called Glocesters lies to the north of the Manor House; the Manor House was subsequently known as Church Farm.
The scope of the land included in Glocesters is not clear from this terrier: it is defined in the Court records as being 12 acres so it is likely to have extended to Victoria Lane.
