The following drawings of proposed enhancements to the old schoolroom never materialised. They are not dated; the current toilets are not shown – the planning application for these was submitted in March 1979. so clearly they are to be dated before that. The “coppers” that appear in all three versions imply that they could date prior to the arrival of electricity – which came to the church in 1961.
The name “Gralix” does not appear.
The outline of option 2 has been pencilled over the first proposal, indicating that was the sequence in which the ideas developed.
