Introduction
Unlike the lessees of the Manor of Deopham of the Dean and Chapter of Canterbury, the Manor of Deopham Hall was not required to produce terriers of its holdings. However, following the completion of the Inclosures Commission’s reorganisation, a Court was held on April 7th 1814 where all the lands were reconfirmed. There is a table summarising the makeup in 1814 of the 155 acres under this Manor’s control here.
