Park Lane Bridge

The bridge was rebuilt in 1974 at a cost of £1938 of which the Upper Yare & Tas Internal Drainage Board Paid £700:

The county surveyor confirmed on May 22nd 1974 that the work had been completed with the exception of the coping stones to the walls which would be “done as soon as suitable stone becomes available”.

The Deopham Parish Council became concerned that lowering the level of this bridge would ease problems upstream from the bridge, but aggravate problems downstream; Mrs. V.R. Phillips therefore wrote as follows on behalf of the Parish Council:
