Life

Sir Anthony Drury was born and lived in Besthorpe where he died and was buried in 1638¹. The last time that he is mentioned in the records of the Manor of Shadwells otherwise Cockerells was at their Court held on October 28^th 1637 which is in keeping with the date of death in 1638.
