The whole Manor not Exceeding Five & Thirtie Acres greatest part whereof is Arable and aboute Foure Cottages or Tenements.
The estimate of 35 acres is the lowest of the extant terriers.
Unlike later terriers, there is no listing of the individual pieces of land so the location of these four “cottages or tenements” was not recorded. Later terrars (e.g. the terrar of 1723) described the 34th piece of copyhold land, located in Hawfield (now called Halffield), as “having formerly a tenement upon it”.
