The Diocesan Surveyor, John Brown, submitted his report on July 28th 1873. The following works clearly relate to the Deopham Vicarage building; other items in the report may relate to Shipdham where there was property the income from which benefited the vicar.

The report then carries on to describe the work required on other outbuildings including stables, coachhouse, another stable, a one bedroom cottage, a barn, piggeries, yard(s) and ends with repairs to gates and fences on the Shipdham glebe lands. It is not clear how much of the total estimate of £90: 8s: 5d relates to the Deopham Vicarage House and how much is for Shipdham works.
