Baptisms, Marriages and Burials

The sources of information available for data concerning the baptism, marriage and death events in the village are:-

1. The Archbishop’s Transcriptions.  The Deopham records date from 1725 to 1812. These were transcribed by Bonnie Ostler for the Norfolk Transcription Archive website and she has kindly given permission to show the complete records. The Norfolk Transcription Archive is no longer actively maintained, but can still be accessed here.
2. Specific entries can be retrieved from the church registers. The transcribed records for Deopham can be viewed on the FreeReg website using their search facility.
3. Microfilm copies of the Parish Records held at the Norfolk Records Office
   (ref PD 485/1).
4. Registers held by the church wardens for recent events.
