The Deed of Enfranchisement
This deed has no exceptions, specifically including mines and minerals etc as highlighted in green.
This Indenture Witnesseth that in pursuance of the said agreement and in consideration of the sum of Two pounds paid by the Purchaser into the Bank of England for the account of the Commissioners, the payment whereof in manner aforesaid is testified by the Memorandum endorsed hereon and signed by two of the Treasurers of the Commissioners;
They the Commissioners Do by these presents grant, release, enfranchise and convey unto the Purchaser and his heirs
All that their estate and interest as Lords of the said Manor of and in the said piece of land so allotted to the said George Denny Graver as hereinbefore recited, which said piece of land for the purpose of identification only is delineated and coloured pink on the plan drawn hereon,
Together with all mines, minerals, rights, easements and appurtenances to the said piece of land belonging or appertaining,
To hold the same unto and to the use of the Purchaser in fee simple as freehold henceforth and for ever discharged by these presents from all fines, quit rents, heriots and other incidents of copyhold or customary tenure …
