    The Rev. John Whitefoot had been rector of Heigham in Norwich until his resignation in 1682 when his son took over. In addition to transferring the rights to this piece of land, the Rev. Whitefoot had also sold the Manor of Shadwells otherwise Cockerells to the Rev. William Grigson in 1695. Details of that transaction are here.
