Extract from the will of Simon Bale
The following extract from the will of Simon Bale bearing date May 17th 1711 has been copied into the Court Roll in English:
I, Simon Bale,
my Estate of Eighteen pounds a yeare I Give to my wife till my Son John come to the age of one & twenty years, and when he so have it to pay five pounds a yeare out in [sic] it to his mother dureing [her] life, and for want of Such payment, She the said wife of Simon Bale Shall enter upon the Estate, and in case he dye without heires, to his Sister Betty.
First Extract from the will of John Sedley, esquire
The following extract from the will of John Sedley, esquire, bearing date October 28th 1711 has been copied into the Court Roll in English:
I, John Sedley, Esq,
As to my Said Manors, Messuages, Lands, Tenements & Hereditaments with the Appurtenances, I give and bequeath the Same, chargeable as before charged, unto my Cousin Edward Sedley of the Parish of St. Andrew Holborne in the County of Middlesex, Oyleman, and to the heires male of the body of the said Edward Sedley lawfully begotten or to be begotten, and to his heires,
and for the want of Such issue unto my Cousin John Sedley, Brother of the Said Edward Sedley, and to the heire male of the body of the Said John Sedley lawfully begotten or to be begotten, & to his heires,
and for want of Such issue unto my Cousin Martin Sedley, Son of Martin Sedley, deceased, late brother of the said Edward and John Sedley, and to the heires male of the body of the Said MArtin the Son and to his heires,
and for want of Such issue unto my right heires for ever.
Second Extract from the will of John Sedley, esquire
The following extract from the will of John Sedley, esquire, bearing date October 28th 1711 has been copied into the Court Roll in English:
I, John Sedley, Esq,
And alsoe as to all other my Manors, Messuages, Lands, Tenements & Hereditaments whatsoever, as well Freehold as Copyhold, with the appurtenances and every of them and not herein before given of bequeathed as before mentioned, Scituate, lying and being in the aforesaid Severall Townes or in either or any of them or in any other Towne or Townes in the said County of Norfolke, or in the City of Norwich or elsewhere within this Kingdome,
my desire and willis that the Same be Sold by the said Edward Sedley and my worthy friend William Balye of Hunningham in the aforesaid County of Norfolke, Esquire, and the Survivor of them of the Executors or Administrators of Such Survivour Soe Soon as Conveniently can be after my decease for the best price can be gotten for the Same, and that the Said Edward Sedley and William Balye or the Survivour of them or the Executors or Administrators of the Survivour of them

Those who had defaulted were amerced 3d each.
