Extract from the will of Thomas Doubledew
The following extract from the will of Thomas Doubledew dated February 14th 1695 has been copied into the Court Roll, in English:
I, Thomas Doubledew,
I give and devise to Stephen Hobard and Margaret his wife, my Sister, during their lives and the life of the longer liver of them,
All that Messuage or tenement I have bought of Jeremy Ellis, And all other my Messuages, Lands and Tenements as well Copyhold as Freehold, scituate, lying and being in Hackford in the County of Norfolk with the appurtenances and after the decease of the longer liver of them, the said Stephen and Margaret, Then I give and devise the last mentioned premises in Hackford aforesaid to all the Children of the said Stephen and Margarett which shall be liveing at the death of their Surviving parent to be equally divided between them, the Reversion and Inheritance of the same premises to goe and be to them respectively.
Extract from the will of John Fyson
The following extract from the will of John Fyson dated February 6th 1696 has been copied into the Court Roll, in English:
I, John Fyson,
Item:
I give and devise all my Copyhold Lands & Tenements which I late had by the surrender of Stephen Baldwin and all the Freehold LAnds which I purchased of Isaac Fyson my Kinsman, lying & being in Deepham aforesaid unto my kinswoman Elizabeth, the wife of Thomas Buthell, & to her heires forever.
