The following extract from the will of Mary Stevenson dated March 23rd 1776 has been included in the Court Roll:

License to Susanna Cann

Susanna Cann was granted license by the Lord of the Manor to “cut down and convert to her own use five small Oaks standing and growing on the copyhold land” to which she had just been admitted.
She had to pay three guineas to the Lord in Court for this license.

Defaulters

Those who had defaulted were amerced 3d each.
