Extract from the will of Charles Rix
The following extract from the will of Charles Rix dated August 9th 1792 was included in the Court Roll:
First, I give and devise unto my Brother Edmund Rix of West Rudham in the said County, Farmer, all and every my Messuages, Lands. Tenements and Hereditaments situate, lying and being in Hackford in the said County with the Appurtenances thereto belonging as the same are now in the tenure or occupation of — Howlett,
To hold the same to him the said Edmund Rix and his Heirs for ever (subject nevertheless as hereinafter is mentioned.)
