  1. The scribe appears to have continued to copy too much out of the will since the next sentence has been crossed out, presumably because it was not relevant to the copyhold lands which occupied this Court. It is interesting though because it gives an indication of the size of the whole premises. The suppressed, incomplete, sentence is:-
    “And after my seyd wyffe’s decease, … I give and bequeath my house wherein I now dwell and the … adjoyning Estate … conteyning by estimatyon five acres …”.
