1814 Enclosures
The 1950 Abstract of Title lists pieces 86-89 as making up Willow Farm following the Enclosures Act of 1812. These are shown on the following 1814 map.

1815 Survey of Deopham
Willow Farm was the area marked on the map below; at this time it was owned by William Simpson, junior, and occupied by William Wright. The details of these seven fields were listed in the survey and totalled 11 acres of arable land and 2 acres of pasture.

It would appear from the list of auction bids that the farm sold for £2,450.

The following “Abstract of Title” compiled for the sale in 1950 relates the farm back to the lands marked on the enclosures map, pieces numbered 86-89 allotted to Joseph Say. These are identified at the top of this page.


2008 Cheese
In September 2008 a Mrs S.J. Murray of Poppylot Farm Dairy, Feltwell Road, Southery, Downham Market applied for permission to convert part of an existing barn for cheese production.


This planning application was approved in December 2008.
The Norfolk White Lady cheese was then manufactured at this farm.
