Extract from the will of John Amyas, gentleman
The following extract from the will of John Amyas, gentleman, dated June 7th 1762 has been included in the Court Roll:-
Also, I devise unto Matthew Lane, Clerk, and Mary his wife for their lives and to the heirs of the body of the said Mary, All my Messuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments in the use of Matthew Birch in Deopham aforesaid.
Indenture of Sale & Release
Indentures of sale and release dated November 25 & 26th 1756 had been made between:
1) John Amyas,
2) Mary Amyas, spinster, sister of John Amyas,
3) Matthew Lane,
4) Mary Lane then Mary Amyas, spinster,
5) Samuel Gilman, gentleman.
Extract paraphrase from the will of Elisha De Hague
The following paraphrase from the will of Elisha De Hague dated August 28th 1777 is included in the Court Roll:-
The said Testator did authorize, impower and direct his Executors therein after named his Executors and Administrators, to make Sale and Disposition of all and every his Messuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments situate, lying and being in Deopham or Towns adjoining in the County of Norfolk with their and every of their appurtenances to and for the best price or prices that could or might be had or gotten for the same.
